Online workshop, time in CST, recording available
Join Jessica Dyer and Arielle Yoon as they discuss our own journeys of connecting with Ancestors when we do not have specific family lineages practices that feel strong enough to draw from. This is an important topic in modern day as we navigate around cultural appropriation and where to look when we don’t have specific guidance.
This workshop can be helpful if you are:
Of mixed descent, Global North descent, or of ancestry who have faced assimilation and therefore you feel disconnected from ancestral reverence practices
Wanting guidance but do not want to culturally appropriate
Looking for more guidance of how to do more ancestors work and connect with land-based practices
You can expect an open dialogue and conversational style workshop.
You will receive suggestions for your own journeys with land based and ancestral practice as well as examples of how to navigate the nuanced struggles that our current world presents.
Jessica’s current work in the world is a blend of somatic therapy and earth based energy healing used to support women in living out their unique soul’s blueprint and mission. She is of Welsh, English, Swedish and German ancestry, which has meant facing internal struggles with harmful and unhealed ancestors and challenges in connecting with the land based practices that have been at the mercy of eradication efforts for centuries.
Arielle’s business is Arielle’s Heart Medicine where she aims to use healing to support revolutionary community leaders in fulfilling their methods. She is of mixed ancestry, equal parts Mexican, Hungarian, Jewish-Russian, and Korean and feels that this life path makes it so she cannot claim a specific lineage as her own, but must find a way to connect with land-based practices in her own way.
